Volunteer at the F.O.W.L. Used Book Store

Join our group of volunteers! The F.O.W.L. Used Book Store is volunteer-operated, and we are always looking for interested people who want to:

• Meet people and be a member of a great group of volunteers

• Help earn money to support the Weaverville Library, a branch of Buncombe County Public Libraries, located in the charming town of Weaverville

• Volunteer two or three hours a week

There are two types of volunteer opportunities available.

1. Store Clerk – staff the Used Book Store, including selling items to the public, helping customers find what they want and organizing and shelving donated items during a two- or three-hour shift when the store is open.

2. Donations Processor – work on Wednesday afternoons from 1:00 to 3:00 cleaning and preparing donations for shelving in the store.

Training and a Volunteer Handbook are provided.
